Erica Goodman (IAC 62-64) will perform as a harpist in the Shaw Festival production of Sweeney Todd.

Lynn Bogen Sanders (IAC 65-66, ICCA 01) published a new children’s book, Dancing with Tex, to raise awareness about endangered whooping cranes.

James Carter Cathcart (IAA 68-71) recently competed in The Cliburn Seventh International Amateur Competition. Although an accomplished pianist, Cathcart is best known as the voice of Meowth and other characters in several of the popular Pokemon series.

Greg Solomon (IAC/NMC 74, IAA 75) received a promotion to Director of Marketing and Graphic Design with Ukpeagvik Iñupiat Corporation (UIC)

Jory Vinikour (IAC/NMC 79) directs and Hannah Stephens (IAA 03-04, IAC 03) stars in Agrippina, which opened July 30 at the West Edge Opera in Oakland, California.

Diane Michaels (IAC/NMC 80-82, IAA 82-84) published her first novel, Ellen the Harpist, based on her own experience as a harpist.

Teri Slick (IAA 89-92, IAC St 92) was promoted to Director of Undergraduate
Advising for the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind.

Douglas Guertner (As 92, IAA 92-94, IAC St 94-96, 09-11) is the music director at Center Stage Theater in Comstock, Mich. He recently directed the pit orchestra for the July production of “The Addams Family, the Musical.”

Natalie (Priest) Yaw (IAC 95, IAA 95-98, IAC St 98-99) was appointed to her second term as a Commissioner on the Michigan Employment Relations Commission.

Kea Wilson (IAC 97-00, IAA 01-05) will publish her first novel, We Eat Our Own, with Simon and Schuster in September.

Julia Mortyakova (IAA 99-00) released a new CD of solo piano music by all women composers, called A Celebration of Women in Music.

Austin Wulliman (IAC 00) has joined the JACK Quartet as a violinist. Fellow alumnus John Pickford Richards (IAA 97-98) is the ensemble’s other violist.

Gabrielle Lucille Fuentes (IAC 02, IAA 03-04) released her debut novel, The Sleeping World.

Rebecca Rad (IAA 05-08, IAC 03, IAC St 08) is a member of The Lost Collective, which was selected as artists-in-residence with NYC Administration for Children’s Services, funded by the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs.

Gabriel Campos Zamora (IAC 05-07, IAA 06-08) has been appointed Principal Clarinet of the Minnesota Orchestra.

Chad Goodman (IAC 06-07) was recently named assistant conductor of the Peninsula Symphony in Los Altos, California.

RJ Magee (IAA 06-08, IAC 02-05) will be playing the role of Uncle Fester in “The Addams Family, the Musical” at the historic Tibbits Opera House in Coldwater, Mich.

Anthony Trionfo (IAA 10-13) won the Music Academy of the West's concerto competition.

Markus Osterlund (IAA 12-13, IAC 11-12) recently won a spot in the National Symphony Orchestra. Markus was a student of fellow alumnus and horn legend William VerMeulen (IAA 77-79, IAC/NMC 74-77).
