Sondra Forsyth (IAC/NMC 57-59, UNIV 62-63) has been named the editor in chief of BWW Dance World, effective Feb. 1, 2016.

Ashok Chandrasekhar (IAC/NMC 74-76), head of Goldfarb & Seligman's International Corporate and Securities Department, was chosen in December 2015 as one of the 100 most influential people in the Israeli high-tech industry by the technology website geektime.com.

Ben Weinberg (IAC/NMC 74-80) has been named the 2016 Board President for the Association of Pro Bono Counsel (APBCo), a membership organization of more than 175 attorneys and practice group managers who run pro bono practices in more than 100 of the world's largest law firms.  

Byron Stripling (IAA 78-79, IAC/NMC 77-78) was featured in a St. Louis Public Radio story paying tribute to the late jazz legend Clark Terry.

Alumni Ron Blake (IAA 80-82, IAC/NMC 79-81) on saxophone and Xavier Davis (IAA 85-89) on keyboards played with Christian McBride's Big Band as part of the Ray Charles Tribute Concert at the White House on Feb. 24, 2016.

Charles Miller (IAA 83-87) was appointed associate organist of the Cathedral Church of St. Paul (Episcopal) in Detroit in July 2015. In addition to his work at the cathedral and its choir school, he assumed leadership and ownership of Phillip Truckenbrod Concert Artists, LLC, one of the longest-running artist management agencies in the country, which specializes in the promotion and booking of concert organists.

Yana Reznick-Bokarius (IAA 97-99, IAC 97-98) is recording her next album for WFMT radio network. She is working with Grammy-winning producer and engineer Christopher Willis and Steve Robinson at the beautiful Levin studio. The album will feature encores by Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Liszt, Tchaikovsky, Copland, Muczynski and much more.

Santino Fontana (IAC 99) is starring as John Adams in the Tony-winning musical 1776 at the New York City Center, running through April 3.

Mark Dover (IAA 04-05, IAC 02-04) has joined Imani Winds as its new clarinetist.

Caleb Hudson (IAA 04-06, IAC 03-04) will join the music faculty at Colorado State University in the fall of 2016 as the assistant professor of trumpet.

Karen Cubides (IAA 07-09, IAC 07) was named Executive Director of The Bach, Beethoven, & Brahms Society Orchestra in Brookline, Massachusetts.

Claire Inie-Richards (IAA 11) was recently featured in the People’s Light production of Sense and Sensibility. She portrayed Marianne in the show, which closed March 20. Inie-Richards also joined the company at People’s Light, which is located in Malvern, Pennsylvania.

Grace Tandon (IAC 13), known professionally as Daya, was featured in a recent Entertainment Weekly article where she previewed her latest single and talked about being in the 2016 SXSW festival.
